I swear, I'm not really this emotional.
But because our wee little family is facing such an unforeseeable future with Stuart graduating college in six months, needless to say, I've maybe been…a tad touchy.
Just a tad.
As I was driving to work yesterday, emotional & freezing, I was so grateful to have the Lord as my companion. I felt overwhelmingly blessed to have a sovereign God who created me, loves me, knows me, and cares for me.
How does anyone survive without the assurance that comes from faith in an all-knowing God. A God who not only strengthens and trains his children through difficult challenges, but also comforts them along the way. A God who not only uses his children for His purpose and plan, but also grants them great strength and perseverance to get through it.
As we face this uncertain time in our lives “Where will we go? What will we do?” we find ourselves completed dependent on the Lord's will in our lives. We are being stretched in our faith and built up for God's purpose. Which reminds me of a wonderful Psalm…

There are many others in the same position. Trust in the Lord he knows where he wants you to be. He has been amazing. I have been unemployed for over a year and he has moved to provide for me. Praise the Lord.
” I am the place where God shines through, For He and I are one not two.
I will not fret or fear or plan, He wants me where and as I am.
And if I am relaxed and free, He will work His plan for me.” Anonymous…

Oh man, I just wrote a LONG comment then got distracted and clicked on another link BEFORE clicking on the “post comment” button.
Well, I guess the gist of what I was saying is that life is hard, but God is good. I really believe that. A quote that jumped out at me was, “It’s not what you’re looking at, it’s what you see.” I think it’s by Thoreau. Where is our focus?
