Flour child.

I know I've told you this before, but I absolutely love the smell of freshly ground flour.  Until we began grinding our own a few years back, I didn't even know flour had a smell.  But oh, it does.  And oh, it is divine.

And not just that...the taste! It's so earthy and delicious.

Apparently, I'm not the only one who thinks so.  While grinding flour earlier this week, my little "helper" couldn't resist the temptation to stick her fingers in the powdery goodness.

And yes, she totally double-dipped.

I'd like to think I'd be the sort of mother who would teach her child proper social manners, but instead, I sat there laughing and taking pictures.  Perhaps, just perhaps, if we had company, I would have restricted her flour feast.  But even then, I'm not so sure.  After all, what is childhood without such fun.

Lick finger.  Stick in flour.  Stick in mouth.  Repeat.

Must.  Eat it.  Faster.

Thank you, Jesus, for sending us sweet flour.

Bah ha ha.

It looks like we may have a little foodie on our hands.  She knows the good stuff when she sees it!

...tastes it, rather.

Have a great weekend!
