Ricco Deruta Jar with Lid

$81.50

A beautiful jar that can serve many purposes, such as holding salt, spices, or even jewelry. It’s handmade and hand-painted. Artistica's Ricco Deruta design is the true original version of the most celebrated Deruta's design, which traces its origins to the sixteenth century. Masterfully hand painted with the original royal blue, yellow gold, and emerald green; traditional renaissance era colors to bring royal elegance to your table.

I originally discovered the Artistica brand in South Carolina, browsing through a small gift store owned by an Italian native. I came home with a bowl (carefully packed in my suitcase) that was one of the most beautiful, original pieces I’d ever seen. It took some time, but I eventually traced the brand back to Orvieto in Umbria, Italy. We are very grateful and excited to share their artisan Italian pottery here in the store.
