I have attached a list of a few goodies that are easy to make at home. We’ve tried to simplify by using many ‘standard’ ingredients in all of our homemade products and are constantly seeking to eliminate toxins from the products we use. Not to mention, we save a lot of money by making all these goodies ourselves.
Give ‘em a try and let me know what you think!

You can also source bulk baking soda and vinegar here:
I now purchase all my essential oils through Mountain Rose Herbs, which you can find by clicking HERE: Mountain Rose Herbs.
Homemade Chapstick: I love this chapstick. I always wear it under my lip color. It actually heals your dry lips. I am never without it.
Homemade Deodorant: We’ve had great success with this recipe. If you find yourself in need of extra odor control, add a dash of tea tree oil to the mixture.
Homemade Natural Cleaners: You know the routine…baking soda and vinegar! Here, I list a few of our mixtures that we keep around for cleaning.
Homemade Laundry Soap: I go back and forth between making and buying our laundry soap. This soap worked well on our regular laundry, but I’ve found it doesn’t quite do the trick on our cloth diapers.
Homemade Face Cream: I use this face cream every day. Not only does it nourish and heal my skin, but the tea tree oil also helps with any inflammation or blemish I may be battling. I also use it to help remove any extra stubborn eye makeup that I may have missed in the shower.
Homemade Baby Powder, Diaper Cream, Baby Lotion, Baby Oil & Homemade Wipe Mixture: Making these baby goodies at home has been a real blessing. Two years in and we’re still using homemade wipes that are made for pennies on the dollar. A few simple mixtures of basic ingredients can really be beneficial to the health of your baby’s bottom!
Homemade Toothpaste: I loooove our homemade toothpaste. It takes a few days to get used to the unsweetened version, but my mouth has never felt better. Give it a shot!
Homemade Heartburn Remedy: Couldn’t survive my pregnancies without this! Instant relief.
Homemade Dishwasher Detergent: Why buy it when you can make it for super cheap?
Homemade Wood Floor Polish: The very best use for hydrogenated vegetable oil!
