The world has stopped.

Funny thing.

You see, I have many a story to share with you.  My whole-grain crackers, for example.  Or my Christmas tree.

But the world has stopped...and I didn't understand how this works until I became a Mother myself.

See this poor little nugget?  Well, she is getting her molars.  And it's been hard.  My sweet munchkin.  She's had a fever and you can tell she just feels uncomfortable.

These past few days, it seems all we've done is snuggle in our jammies.  And drink milk.  And watch Tangled.  And Curious George.  And The Santa Clause.

We've taken approximately 14 baths with lavender oil, sipped on warm water, and chewed on wash clothes.

Did I mention we've snuggled?

And drank hot chocolate?

And watched Tangled?  And Curious George?  And The Santa Clause?

You see, I've learned that when you have a sick child, you will do anything in your power to make them feel better.  You'd walk to Chile to harvest the cocoa beans and walk back to make the hot chocolate if you had to.  You'd sit up with them at nighttime, reading their favorite book for the 1,200th time, not even worrying about the sleep your devoid of.  You'd let them watch their favorite movie twelve times in one day.

Truly.  The world stops.  And it's all about that sick baby.

So, instead of posting, here I am.  Snuggling.  Comforting.  And praying.

Thank you for understanding.

Over and out.
