That's right people. No makeup. Pajamas. It's early.
It's Christmas Eve.
It's our first Christmas as three.
It's the most magical morning.
Facts:
1) Stuart got me a GRAIN GRINDER FOR CHRISTMAS. I could have died. But then I wouldn't have been able to grind anything, so I must stay alive. At least until I can make some bread. I love this man. Don't worry – I am a geek, I will be doing a full post on the grain grinder in days to come. I wouldn't leave ya hangin' like that.

2) I got Stuart a french press for Christmas. We are both now on a caffeine high. Seriously.
3) Jeremy is only a few hours away from getting here! Stuart is so excited. He is jumping around singing Christmas songs. Maybe that's just the caffeine.
4) I also got Stuart new underwear, socks, and teeshirts for Christmas. How romantic is that.
5) There is no number five. I only have four facts to give to you this morning.
I hope that your day involves caffeine, oatmeal, grain grinders, french presses, chex mix, cranberry wine and a load of cheese fondue.
From The Elliott Homestead, to your homestead, Merry Christmas Eve!

I had to laugh- my husband also got me a grain mill for Christmas! I just opened it! And I got him a french press too- crazy, huh?
We real food people are such freaks- some girls get diamonds for Christmas, we get grain grinders. Ain’t it great?!? 🙂
The Mrs.
Jill, that is AWESOME. You are my new favorite person.

Woo-hoo!! I’m so excited for you! Can’t wait to hear what kind of grain grinder you got. I actually just hopped on Amazon this morning looking for an electric wheat mill. I got some money I wanna spend 🙂 Unfortunately, they’re BIG bucks, like, out of my price range big bucks. Looks like I’ll be hand grinding still for a while! I’d LOVE to get an electric wheat grinder though, eventually.
