Happy 4th of July!

July 4, 2011 - Leave a Comment

Dear American readers,

Why are you reading this post?  You should be out celebrating our Independence Day – how blessed we are to live in this wonderful nation!

Are you still reading this?  Hello?  Aren't you listening?

You should be out grillin' burgers and playing volleyball!  You should be watching fireworks blow up, soakin' up some sweet summer sun and nibblin' on freshly sliced watermelon!  You should be doin' what I am doin': baking sweet potato fries, sipping on a microbrew, folding laundry, and trimming our maple tree – how's that for a celebration!

Let me tell ya – I know how to have a good time.

(As for my non-American readers, I do apologize that I am too busy celebrating today to do a worthwhile post. Please forgive me. I will return tomorrow with something productive…maybe…probably not productive…but at least something!)

Happy Independence Day!
