One of these years we're actually going to have more goals than lessons learned. At least, I hope so. Homesteading is the perfect lifestyle for those of you our there who are long suffering – it is a dance that one commits to dancing always.
We will be sharing a lot more of this on the blog in the coming year, but sit down with Stuart and I in the meanwhile while we hash out what worked, what didn't work, what animals are leaving, what animals are coming back, and how we see the new year taking shape:

This video was so informative and well done. You two are amazing. If I were sixty years younger I’d be following in your footsteps. I’ve lived on land 47 of those years but worked outside the home. Other than chickens, cherries and a small garden that’s all I had time for. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

It is a pleasure to watch and listen to how you have grown in your processes over the years. I remember when you vowed to win the battle of growing potatoes. That was one of your successes this year. These videos and those conversations about what does and does not work are extremely important and very motivating. Thank you.
Shaye, where do you all get the containers for your produce (grapes, carrots etc.)?
