Forgive me – I haven't yet introduced you to some of my people.
This is Tye and Ty. My baby sister and brother-in-law.
(I say “baby” sister because she is about 5'1″ and twelve pounds)
The funny part about this picture is it wasn't even taken on Halloween! They just dress like this. It's sort of weird, and rather embarrassing. Do you think we should be concerned?
Tye: Hey Shaye! You and Stuart wanna go to dinner?
Tye: How come? You busy teaching your perfect daughter how to speak a new language?
Me: No. You are dressed weird and people stare. And Ty is wearing those shorts. Again.
(Insert awkward silence)
Which shorts? Please observe:
To be honest, Ty's shorts concern me more than Tye's cheerleading outfit.
Sorry, Ty. But it's true.
And don't let girl Tye deceive you. She isn't, nor has she ever been a cheerleader.
She can't do the splits.; And all cheerleaders have to be able to do the splits.
Tye and Ty are the newlyweds of the fam. They got married this last July when it was 8,000 degrees outside and I was seven months pregnant. I literally had two dresses that I was switching between so that they could dry out in-between. It made me feel really feminine and dainty.
But none-the-less, it was a beautiful wedding. A hot, beautiful wedding.
They can be normal. They just choose not to be. And that is why I love them.
