After spending last week down South with Stu’s family, we arrived back at the farm with a full farm-style spring welcome. Chicks hatching in the incubator, new lambs, and flowers blooming.
Hallelujah!

In this week’s new video, I’m sharing with you how I “make the rounds” when I come back home to the farm – reacquainting myself with all the pieces, putting my eye to it all, touching the soil, and almost immediately turning on the stove.
Come make the rounds with me, meet the new faces on the farm, and enjoy the asparagus linguine with drenched breadcrumbs we make together.
To spring!
Cheers,
Shaye
Shaye I love the photos more then the videos because I can soak it in so much better. Thank you, happy spring to the Elliotts. (We are still buried in 3 ft of snow)
Hi Shaye! I love all that you and your family do and your faith in our Lord! Keep pressing in! I notice your potting soil is a little mulchy, do you use different soil when transferring to larger pots? I have such issues starting seeds from start to finish. I notice you also dont using growing lights, is that because of having a green house? So many questions but so thankful for the time you give. Thank you for your inspiration to keep going and trying!
