The Best Flavored Butter Recipes

The Best Flavored Butter Recipes | The Elliott Homestead (.com)

You thought it would stop at homemade butter. Or at the ‘How To Make Butter' video. Or even the homemade clarified butter. But you were wrong. Because my love for butter knows no bounds – which you know, right? If you don't, allow me to introduce myself.

Hi, I'm Shaye, and I'm a butter addict.

The Best Flavored Butter Recipes | The Elliott Homestead (.com)

This past week, when our dear friends Casie and Andrew came up to visit from Alabama, it was the perfect excuse to bring said butter addiction to light and celebrate it's awesomness. Because if there's anyone that loves butter as much as me, it's Casie and Andrew.

I whipped up a fresh batch of butter from Sally Belle's cream while we finished the breakfast dishes. Then, Casie and I brainstormed about ideas that would accentuate the awesomeness of said butter. Then, we played with flavors and colors and textures until we were pleased.

And now, I'm here to present: The Best Flavored Butter Recipes.

Yes, these are adapatable to your tastes. But please note, many butter-lover's-tastebuds went into perfecting each butter. We ate a cup and a half of butter for you. We each ate two full biscuits, also made with butter, to vehicle said butter into our bellies. We sacrificed ourselves for the team and really put our bellies up to the butter bar.

For your sake, of course.

I'd tell you which one was my favorite flavored butter recipe but that'd be impossible. If I want something sweet, I'd certainly lean towards the vanilla bean and berry flavored butter – seriously, this is totally worth using a vanilla bean for. It's incredibly delectable. If I want a flavor punch to my face, I'd choose the roasted garlic and sundried tomato butter. WOW. Sit down with this and a loaf of homemade crusty bread and you've got the next hour of your life written out for you – trust me, it will involve smearing.

That sounded weird. Sorry.

Lastly, the rosemary and lemon butter is insane on roasted vegetables. Little bit fresh. Little bit warming. All the way fantastic.

I'd lie and say that these weren't the best flavored butter recipes – but frankly, well… that'd be a lie.

Because they are.

Which is why I ate them. All.

I have no control. And I don't care.

And Amen.

Mmmmmm! I love flavored butter. I think I’ll try the roasted garlic and sundried tomato butter with the butter with the butter I made yesterday (I learned from watching your awesome video). There is nothing better than flavored butter on a slice of toast—YUM! Thanks for sharing these recipes. Pinned! 🙂
